Superintendent's Message

Superintendent’s message January – February 2012. As the second half of the school year begins, students are engaged in their pursuit of knowledge and skills as they progress in their developmental journey in education. Teachers too are learners and have been very involved in school based professional development recently. Westwind is very pleased with the development of a Professional Development Handbook that delineates the details of a positive partnership between the Board of Education, Central Office Administration, and Westwind Local #12 of the Alberta Teachers Association. The collaborative work to establish a fresh vision for professional learning is made clear in the new PD handbook that has been warmly received by the Westwind Board of Trustee’s.
