K-4 Curriculum Conversation with Alberta Education David Eggen Telephone Town Hall October 17
We know our Westwind families want to be informed and engaged throughout the Alberta K-4 curriculum development process. Tomorrow evening, Alberta Education Minister David Eggen will be hosting two telephone town halls to discuss the latest drafts of the Kindergarten to Grade 4 curriculum. These meetings are open to Albertans who want to know more about what students will be learning in the future.

Draft Kindergarten to Grade 4 Curriculum
In June 2016, Alberta Education began work on developing new provincial curriculum in six subject areas: Language Arts (English And French), Mathematics, Social Studies, Sciences, Arts, and Wellness education. The Telephone Town Halls are an opportunity for Albertans to discuss the latest draft of the K-4 curriculum with the Minister and Alberta Education officials.
