Alberta Education Assurance Survey

If you have students in grades 4, 7, or 10, it's time to check your mailbox for the Alberta Education Assurance Survey!

The Alberta Education Assurance (AEA) Survey is an important tool for enhancing the quality of education in our schools. Your participation in this survey is invaluable! It helps us gauge how well we're doing in areas like student growth, learning engagement, education quality, and creating welcoming, caring, respectful, and safe learning environments. Your feedback directly influences our planning and future initiatives.

Each year, Alberta Education sends the AEA survey to all parents and legal guardians of students in grades 4, 7 and 10 to gather important information on the quality of education provided by school authorities and their schools.

This year's surveys have been mailed, so keep your eyes open - you should receive the survey package from Alberta Education shortly if it isn't waiting for you at the post office already! Your survey package includes a copy of the Education Minister's letter to parents/guardians and a letter containing a Random Access Code (RAC) for accessing the survey online. When your survey arrives, please visit https://public.education.alberta.ca/APOS/ to complete it.

Completing the survey online is the quickest way for Alberta Education to receive your response, but parents/guardians may still choose to complete the survey on paper. Those wishing to complete the survey on paper may request a copy from the System Assurance Branch directly or contact their principal, who will contact the System Assurance Branch on their behalf.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with the principal of your child's school.

Remember: your responses are completely anonymous, and the survey must be completed by March 1
