The position will commence at the start of the 2025/2026 school year.

The suitable candidates will:

• Teach a Grade 6 class.
• Excel in classroom management, ensuring a focused and productive learning environment.
• Demonstrate adaptability and teamwork, while fostering positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community.
• Demonstrate effective assessment techniques, offer meaningful feedback, and focus on results-driven learning.
• Maintain familiarity and a strong understanding of research-supported approaches in literacy and numeracy.

• Have the ability to differentiate and scaffold learning for a variety of learner abilities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A strong understanding of and the ability to demonstrate the Alberta Education Teaching Quality Standard.
• A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.
• Willingness to provide a current vulnerable sector check before employment begins.
