The suitable candidates will:
- Teach a Grade 6 class.
- Excel in classroom management, ensuring a focused and productive learning environment.
- Demonstrate adaptability and teamwork, while fostering positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community.
- Demonstrate effective assessment techniques, offer meaningful feedback, and focus on results-driven learning.
- Maintain familiarity and a strong understanding of research-supported approaches in literacy and numeracy.
- Understand and apply the collaborative response model.
- Understand the methodologies for fostering students' social and emotional well-being.
- Have the ability to differentiate and scaffold learning for a variety of learner abilities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A strong understanding of and the ability to demonstrate the Alberta Education Teaching Quality Standard.
- A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.
