Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check
A Criminal Record & Police Vulnerable Sector Check dated within six months IS REQUIRED as a condition of employment and for all staff and volunteers. It must be submitted to WSD Human Resources before your first day of work.
Following this initial check, all staff and volunteers will be required to fill out a self-declaration form annually.
Intervention Record Check
As you may be working directly with children, a clean Alberta Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (IRC) dated within six months IS REQUIRED as a condition of employment or to volunteer in our schools.
If the IRC has not been received prior to the first day of work, staff must submit proof that the IRC application has been submitted to WSD Human Resources along with an official self-declaration form. This form can be obtained by emailing email@example.com.
You may request a Children's Services Intervention Record Check (IRC) by emailing the Children's Services - AB Office at CS-IRCrequest@gov.ab.ca
