Our successful candidate will:

  • Licensed Mechanic, preference given to Heavy Duty License
  • Hold a Commercial Inspection License or be able to obtain one 
  • A Fleet Management background is an asset
  • Be able to effectively communicate with bus operators, Transportation Supervisor, and all Westwind School Div. staff
  • Holding a Class II Driver’s License is an asset
  • Must be able to stay organized and follow directions from the Transportation Supervisor
  • The hours of work will be from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., five days per week
  • Consistently demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and a strong commitment to providing our students with the best possible safe and reliable transportation.

Please note: Fleet management is a broad term encompassing the many actions and processes that must occur for a fleet of five or more vehicles to run on time, within budget, and at maximum efficiency.
